Goal 3 Kustawi

Health care in low- and middle-income countries often involves major challenges. One of the biggest challenges is recognizing problems such as severe infections at an early stage with severe staff shortages. The IMPALA system is a patient monitoring solution that assists healthcare workers in better monitoring their patients and detecting potential deteriorations at an early stage. This can lead to improved patient care and a reduction in fatalities. The "GOAL 3 Kustawi" project focuses on implementing the IMPALA system in 6 new hospitals in Rwanda. The project aims to develop a scalable distribution strategy for the IMPALA system, making it accessible to a large number of hospitals in East Africa.

Objectives

Develop a scalable distribution strategy for the IMPALA system, a patient monitoring solution for hospitals in resource-limited environments.

Core activities

  • Implementation of the IMPALA system in 6 new hospitals in Rwanda.
