Training and development

Learning and development are a matter of course at Achmea. Training and development not only contribute to personal growth, career development and organisational performance, they also enhance job satisfaction, commitment and innovativeness. Our employees can engage in ongoing learning.
  • All You Can Learn (AYCL) offers free training even for temporary workers (after three months). Colleagues may take training courses without their manager’s permission and receive study time and financial support (where applicable). 
  • Employees can use My Learning Environment to design their own growth path, set goals and explore the development opportunities available to them.
  • We provide personalised career advice linked to labour market demands and internal advancement opportunities.
  • Managers receive training and feedback tools enabling them to effectively guide development interviews.

International alignment

Internationally, we align our training offerings with local needs. For example, Eureko Sigorta in Turkey offers training in AI, leadership and sustainability, and organises expert seminars under the title Eureko Talks. Interamerican in Greece focuses on topics such as financial literacy, security and inclusion, while Union in Slovakia has upgraded its internal learning platform and integrated training needs into its evaluation processes. 

Working on development together

Our training policy is coordinated with works council and unions. Managers, HR and our Learning Councils monitor implementation and progress, and ensure that offerings continue to meet changing needs. This enables us to continue learning and growing as an organisation and as employees.
