Social safety
We have clear agreements in place about behaviour and we do not tolerate inappropriate conduct. There are also guidelines about matters such as confidential advisers and whistleblower procedures, and an inappropriate conduct complaint system. We also devote considerable attention to psychological safety based on the notion that employees should be able to share their ideas and concerns freely without negative consequences.
Monitoring and results
We measure and monitor the extent to which employees feel safe at Achmea by means of the annual employee engagement survey (MBO), internal audits, the Risk Inventory and Evaluation (RI&E) and reports through the Inappropriate Conduct Committee, the Confidential Advisers and the Whistleblower Policy.
