At Achmea, several operating companies carry out investment activities on behalf of Achmea and our (institutional) clients. We mainly invest the funds that customers entrust to us via Achmea’s own asset manager, Achmea Investment Management, and via our own real estate manager, Syntrus Achmea.

Achmea Investment Management (hereafter: Achmea IM) is an independent division of Achmea and has supported pension funds in the Netherlands with tailored solutions for over 60 years. Via robust portfolio advice, effective asset management, responsible investing and thoughtful risk management, Achmea IM’s goal is to create more capital for the future in a better world. Achmea IM manages assets of over €175 billion on behalf of clients (as of 30.06.2022).

Achmea Real Estate is an independent division of Achmea and has been an investment manager in real estate for institutional investors for over 60 years. Achmea Real Estate develops and invests in real estate on behalf of pension funds and other institutional investors, such as insurers and charitable institutions.
