To combat global warming, we need to reduce carbon emissions worldwide. In this way, we can limit climate change and minimise the negative impact on people and nature.
Climate change mitigation measures
We aim to achieve net-zero CO₂ emissions by 2050 at the latest. We are doing this by reducing our emissions step by step and offsetting unavoidable emissions where necessary. In doing so, we follow international climate goals and report annually on our progress.
More actions
- We offer our customers sustainable solutions, such as home improvements including solar panels, heat pumps and home battery systems. For business customers, this includes electric vehicle fleets and sustainable upgrades to commercial buildings.
- To accelerate the transition to a sustainable economy, we aim for at least 15% of our own investments to generate a clear positive social and environmental impact by 2030.
- We also take responsibility in our own operations. We are working towards net-zero CO₂ emissions by 2030. We are making our buildings and lease vehicle fleet more sustainable, using 100% renewable electricity, and applying circular principles in our procurement processes wherever possible.
